Daniel Reid

Reid explores print, installation and sculpture with a specialism in bronze. With his artistic pursuits emerging from his time as a flower shop owner, he created original and innovative displays.

Applying elements of traditional craft, Reid delves in human creative skill and imagination, creating visual forms that comment on human life.

Vicky Mclennon

Delving into world myths, legends and the inner nature of people, Mclennon uses a range of different techniques and materials ranging from Sculpture, Installation and Photography to Painting. Mclennon often uses found items and ready-made materials in order to express her inner feelings and creativity.

Using repetition, geometry and motherhood amongst other topics of interest. Mclennon indulges in elements of extremes and difficult subject matter in order to raise awareness.

Her art is her own spiritual journey, unravelling family history and swinging from myth to the ultimate reality.

Nadine Fletcher

The authentic self that emerges from the subtle fragments of our darkest subconscious. Fletcher creates sculptural pieces using childish objects fused together in a paradigm of innocent brutality.

Both engaging in sculpture and sculptural performance pieces in which the spectator themselves, becomes the spectacle. Fletcher comments on fundamental raw human qualities. A vision of monotone, cold simplicity, she creates relics of humanity.

Sanchez Lee-Nelson

The momentum to supplement an uneasy back-and-forth between image and viewer is something that Lee-Nelson seeks to conjure through his paintings. Challenging perceptions of realised form, his work often resembles life study yet manages to evade direct representation or recognised likeness.

His subject matter consists of dealing with the flesh and stripping humanity to a point of default. Presenting the ever tangible medium that is the flesh; Lee-Nelson attempts to engage the spectator in a question of what is to be seen and what is desired. Deep crimsons, wet burgundies and often, negative space are aspects of his work that aesthetically prompt notions of violent fluidity.

Karina Vettorel

Vettorel’s work consists of photography, drawing, printmaking and painting. Her recent work focuses on photography as a source to produce oil painting, which forms the final result. Vettorel captures the beauty of old fallen objects that seemingly have no value.

Rusty and decaying objects, acquired through recalling memories from her travelling journeys appear on the surface under her masterful use of the palette knife and brush. A link between the old and contemporary
